Seg\u00fan la Direcci\u00f3n de Hidrograf\u00eda y Navegaci\u00f3n (DHN) de la Marina de Guerra del Per\u00fa, olas de hasta 3.5 metros de altura han impactado diversas zonas costeras desde el lunes, obligando al cierre de puertos y la suspensi\u00f3n de actividades mar\u00edtimas. Este evento, atribuido a tormentas en el Pac\u00edfico Sur, mantiene en alerta a regiones como Lima, Callao, Ica y Arequipa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los oleajes an\u00f3malos, definidos como olas de gran amplitud y energ\u00eda, se originan principalmente por fuertes vientos en alta mar o disturbios atmosf\u00e9ricos. La DHN explica que las tormentas australes, comunes en esta \u00e9poca, generan olas que viajan miles de kil\u00f3metros hasta el litoral peruano. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, el fen\u00f3meno ha sido clasificado como \u201cmoderado a fuerte\u201d, con per\u00edodos largos que aumentan su capacidad destructiva. El Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil (INDECI) reporta da\u00f1os en muelles y malecones, especialmente en el Callao y Paracas, donde la pesca artesanal ha sido paralizada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las zonas m\u00e1s afectadas incluyen el litoral centro y sur. En Lima, playas como La Herradura y Miraflores han registrado inundaciones costeras, mientras que en Ica, el puerto de San Andr\u00e9s enfrenta dificultades operativas. En Arequipa, Mollendo reporta erosi\u00f3n en sus costas, y en Moquegua, el puerto de Ilo permanece cerrado. La DHN ha emitido alertas para 48 puertos, recomendando a los pescadores y navegantes evitar actividades en el mar. INDECI coordina con gobiernos locales para reforzar la vigilancia en zonas vulnerables y proteger la infraestructura costera. La poblaci\u00f3n ha sido exhortada a seguir las indicaciones de la DHN y evitar acercarse al litoral durante las alertas. Este evento recuerda la importancia de sistemas de monitoreo como las boyas oceanogr\u00e1ficas, que permiten a la DHN emitir pron\u00f3sticos con hasta 72 horas de anticipaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los oleajes an\u00f3malos, aunque recurrentes, evidencian la vulnerabilidad del litoral peruano frente a fen\u00f3menos clim\u00e1ticos extremos.
